Site support for data centre construction.

A site-inducted crew handles cleaning, material handling and surface protection. Installation teams can focus on their own work in line with site instructions.

Site instructions guide the working day.

Access control, cleanliness and the protection of finished surfaces are taken into account in every task.

A familiar crew and access control

The same crew, employed by Gene-Works Oy, works on the site on an ongoing basis. Site induction, access permits and area-specific instructions are reviewed with the client.

Cleaning and waste sorting

As equipment installation progresses, packaging waste increases. We collect and sort construction waste and keep access routes clear in line with site cleanliness requirements.

Material handling and surface protection

We help receive and unload deliveries and move materials. We protect finished floors, doorways and access routes to suit each stage of the work.

Outdoor areas in winter

Snow clearing, gritting and de-icing on access routes, at entrances and in agreed work areas can be included in the scope of work.

Crew size and tasks to suit the site.

Crew size is agreed according to the scale of the site and construction phase. Working hours and tasks are tailored to the project's requirements.

Valtti cards, Occupational Safety Cards and training in working at height. Contractor liability documents available on request.

Questions about data centre sites

Daily site work and getting started together.

What tasks does the support crew carry out on a data centre site?

Tasks may include helping receive and unload deliveries, moving materials, site cleaning and construction waste sorting, protecting surfaces and access routes, supporting construction and installation crews, and winter maintenance on access routes, at entrances and in agreed work areas.

How do you make sure your workers meet the site's safety requirements?

Our workers are employed by Gene-Works Oy and hold Valtti cards and Occupational Safety Cards, with training in working at height. The crew attends site induction and follows the site's safety instructions.

Do you provide the required contractor liability documents before the contract is signed?

Yes. We provide the client with the documents required under Finland's Contractor's Liability Act on request.

Can the crew size change as a data centre project moves from structural work to building services and finishing?

Changes to crew size, working hours and daily tasks are agreed according to site requirements.

How is roof snow clearing arranged on a data centre site?

Roof snow clearing is agreed separately. The work requires appropriate fall protection, a safety plan from the client and a review of site safety instructions before work begins.

Where do you support data centre projects?

We work throughout Finland.
