Which areas does site winter maintenance cover?
We handle snow clearing, gritting and de-icing on site access routes, at entrances and in work areas agreed with the client. The areas and order of work are agreed in advance.
Do you also clear snow from roofs?
Roof snow clearing is agreed separately. The work requires appropriate fall protection and a safety plan from the client. Our workers are trained in working at height. The work area and safety arrangements are reviewed before work begins.
How is winter maintenance combined with other site support tasks?
The same dedicated crew works on site each day. When snow falls or routes become icy, the crew switches to winter maintenance according to the agreed priorities, then returns to indoor work and site logistics.
Does the snow clearing crew need a separate induction before every snowfall?
No. The same crew already knows the site rules and access routes. Task-specific instructions and any changes on site are still reviewed before work begins.
Do you operate throughout Finland during winter?
Yes. We serve construction and data centre sites throughout Finland.
How is site winter maintenance agreed before the winter season?
We review the areas to maintain, priorities, working hours and safety instructions with the client's site management. We also agree which daily support tasks can wait during snowfall.
